Identity Crisis

Sadly, this happened today. After noticing that we hadn't been getting our usual amount of electronic appeals, I asked around, and was told that I should find myself, and ask me why I stopped assigning mail to myself. It was a symphony of stupidity, and my nose almost gushed blood in an attempt to protect my brain from living in a world where such answers are given.
Arc Reactor is built, and just needs a few more adjustments and wiring to call itself complete. Also, wedding pictures are up, and you can see them by going to ykvision.zenfolio.com/danandbree and using the password "roses". Enjoy the romance, taste the love, hear the fun, and something about smell and feel I guess. Might as well hit all 5 senses.

Carrot on the Stick

Technical difficulties almost delayed this one, but only resulted in a somewhat simplified joke system. That doesn't make it any less true. Honeymoon in California is T-minus one month, and boy is it hard to keep the train of thought from stopping for tea.
Arc reactor is coming along nicely, if a bit larger in scale than it's emulated counterpart. Nevertheless it is cool, and once the LEDs come in the mail, it will be shiny. Who can resist a shiny cool thing? Not I, not I...

No Bueno

Here's a bigger question; Who took the picture? Ah, got you there.
LED lights have been ordered for the arc reactor. There were cheaper versions that would have required a bit of circuit building, so I went for ones that were already wired and ready. All I need to do is connect them by wires to each other and then the battery, and Tony Stark will live on.

Back From Yom Kippur

Actually it is my wife who is friends with Adam West on Facebook, and who is soo cool that she's ice cold. Just want to give credit where credit is due.
Production on this year's Halloween costume has begun. The supplies have been collected (most of them), and some things have already been put together. It will definitely be time consuming, but luckily I am starting early. Unluckily, well for the costume anyways, I will be on my Honeymoon for half of October, so this needs to be done by October 18th or so. The race is on!

Stretched Thin

Oh and I am. Oh and I am.
This weekend is my only repose, and yet I keep filling it with activities that threaten my rest. Friday night starts Yom Kippur, and who knows what temple activities my family will be partaking in. Then Saturday I will begin construction on an Arc reactor for my Tony Stark costume (Halloween 2010, baby!) Then Saturday night the wife and I are going to hit up Oktoberfest. Sunday I might have a filming gig, and then I will explode. Yep, exploding is on the docket. Go figure.

Wordplay

I knew I had some sort of joke involving the double meaning of yams. I hope this was it. The thought process followed meatloaf and yams as a very 1950's dish, then to 1950's colloquialisms...you see what I'm working with.
Anyways, Halo: Reach is getting some pretty positive reviews, and I am leaning towards purchasing it. The question is not "Do I have the money", but rather "do I have the time?" Of course I have the time. But that might be at the expense of things that already sit on my plate. Such decisions weigh heavy on my mind.

Head First

Things are finally starting to settle down after the wedding. Man oh man was it a fun wedding, though. There is a sneak peak of the wedding pics, if you want to spec them out, go to ykvision.com and check out the blog. The photographer is Yasmin, a friend of Firefilm and and excellent picture snapper. I recommend her both for her skills, and for her personality.
Plus the pictures make my belly all warm and fuzzy. Though I think my hair could have used a little more mouse.

Aftermath

OH man, I thought for a good ten minutes on how "Marriage Powers" would manifest themselves, and nothing came to mind that wouldn't end in a slew of hate mail. That just doesn't seem like a good plan to me, so I went the "Leave it to Beaver" route. Safe, I think. We both love pie.
Wedding went off without a hitch. I am blissful, happy beyond all measure. Now to begin the month and a half long trek to October 20th when we get to enjoy a nice honeymoon in California.
